The latest update for Apple's mobile devices is rolling out now, bringing bug fixes and one major feature. The iOS 7.1 update isn't as big of an upgrade as iOS7 was, of course, but it does bring tweaks and additions to the formula anyway. For one, it brings support for Apple's CarPlay service, which essentially brings selected iPhone apps (such as maps and music player) to your car's display.
Of course, you'll need a specific 2014 car model (from the likes of Ferrari, Honda and Ford, to name a few) to actually make use of CarPlay. Other features include: the ability to manually control how long Siri listens to you, HDR mode by default for the camera and several tweaks to the user-interface.
As for bug fixes, iOS7.1 improves performance on the iPhone 4, improves Touch ID performance and fixes a homescreen crash bug.
